Edestad burial ground

The west-east-oriented cemetery of Edestad (RAÄ No. Edestad 86-1) is located in the hamlet of Anglemåla southeast of Ronneby in Blekinge in Sweden .

On the 65 × 35 m grave field there are four ship settlements and two boulders .

The ship settlements are around 17.0 to 31.0 m long and 6.5 to 8.5 m wide. Some are overturned 1.3 to 3.7 m long and 0.4 to 0.6 m wide and thick stern stones. The curbs are missing in some places. Only the western half of a ship was preserved. The stones are 2.5 to 3.0 m long, 0.5 to 1.0 m wide and 0.4 to 0.5 m thick. The stones that cannot be assigned could belong to other ship settlements.

A boulder measures 1.0 × 1.5 m. The other block measures 2.7 x 3.2 m and is 1.7 m high.
