Hultsjö burial ground
The burial ground of Hultsjö (Swedish: Hultsjö gravar ) is a prehistoric burial ground near Hultsjö in the Swedish municipality of Sävsjö in the province of Småland .
The burial ground is northeast of the village on the crest of a small elevation. A smaller country road runs south. It consists of about 160 burial mounds and stone settings . The younger Iron Age is assumed to be the time of origin . After the Christianization of the area, the burials continued south of the path, which ultimately led to the cemetery around the church of Hultsjö .
