The unexplored cemetery of Skävesund ( Swedish Skävesunds gravfalt ) is located south of Glanshammar , east of Örebro in Närke , which is north of the main distribution area of Sweden's megalithic monuments . The province of Närke has around 50 domar rings . The cemetery of Skävesund consists of around 230 mostly Iron Age monuments, which are located west of the road to Stenhov and are spatially divided into three areas.

The northern burial ground measures around 475 × 35 m and consists of 69 round stone settings , 20 burial mounds , three irregular stone settings, two Treudds and a building stone . The largest burial mound is 1.2 m high and about 12.0 m in diameter.

The middle field measures 280 × 50 m and consists of 44 round stone settings, 35 burial mounds, a triangular stone setting and a Treudd. The largest stone setting is about 15.0 m in diameter and 0.5 m high.

The southern burial ground, also known as Gubbskogen, consists of 40 round stone settings, seven burial mounds, a ship setting and a Treudd. The largest hill is about 10.0 m in diameter and 1.0 m high.

Nearby is the Glanshammar burial ground .
