Gräf & Stift SR

The Graf & pen SR 2 is a passenger car of the upper class which the automobile company Graf & pin brought out 1921st The car was initially a copy of a contemporary Rolls-Royce that the Austrian General Staff used during the First World War . After the intervention of Rolls-Royce, the design was modified several times until sufficient differences emerged.

The car had a side-controlled 6-cylinder engine installed at the front, which drove the rear wheels via a 4-speed gearbox. The in- line engine developed 75 HP (55 kW) at a speed of 1800 rpm.

In 1924 a revised version appeared, the Gräf & Stift SR 3 . Its engine of the same size developed 90 hp (66 kW) at 2000 rpm.

In 1926, the Gräf & Stift SR 4 switched to the overhead motor. With the same engine size, the new model developed 110 hp (81 kW) at 2400 rpm and accelerated the 2-ton car to up to 110 km / h.

In 1928 the series was discontinued after approx. 200 copies.
