The Green Pond is a small artificial pond in Darmstadt , Hesse.
geography
The Green Pond is located on the eastern edge of Darmstadt , between Darmstadt-Ost and Roßdorf . The pond is approx. 50 m long and approx. 30 m wide. The Letschbach flows through the green pond .
fauna
Different bird species live in the green pond; including ducks , kites and wild geese . Numerous native fish species animate the pond.

The green pond is in the middle of a mixed forest , west of the "Küchlerwiese", in the forest area "The Sprangenwiese". The natural monuments “Hey oak”, “Küchlereiche” and “Liebigeiche” are in the immediate vicinity.
Varia
A circular path on the bank opens up the water. There is a wooden shelter on the south bank of the Green Pond.
