The Letschbach is a stream in the eastern urban area of the independent city of Darmstadt in the south of Hesse .

course

The Letschbach rises in the forest area Die Letschbach , a part of the almost closed forest area on the eastern edge of Darmstadt a little north of the route of the B 26 (Hanauer Straße). The stream runs almost northwards with changes in direction. A little north of the spring it is fed by the Küchler fountain. Then it crosses the so-called Green Pond and flows in an arch to the west around the Vordersten Kahler Berg . At its northern foot it is fed by the short run of the Rückbrünnchen.

In the northwest tube of the Scheftheimer Wiesen nature reserve , the Letschbach finally flows into the Ruthsenbach from the left between Bernhardtsbrünnchen and the Steinbrücker pond .
