Green space

The green area as a sub-discipline of state maintenance serves on the one hand to plan and develop spatially and functionally oriented landscape elements , taking into account the ecological, social, economic and technical level of knowledge. In addition to being used as a collective term in urban development, it also designates a catalog of regulations for the definition, maintenance and care of green spaces and gardens in the public and private areas.

In the green area, measures to avoid and minimize as well as compensatory and replacement measures are defined, which reduce the effects of construction planning on nature and the landscape. The results of the green space are recorded in the green space plan . This serves to represent landscape elements and landscape maintenance measures.
