Grabenstedt

Until December 31, 1972, Grabenstedt was a municipality in the Salzwedel district in the Magdeburg district , German Democratic Republic .

history

On July 1, 1950, the communities of Klein Grabenstedt and Groß Grabenstedt in the Salzwedel district were merged to form a community called Grabenstedt . On July 25, 1952, Grabenstedt was reclassified to the Salzwedel district.

In 1954 the first type III agricultural production cooperative, the LPG "Einheit", was established.

Incorporation

On January 1, 1973, the municipality of Grabenstedt was incorporated into the municipality of Andorf . It was thus dissolved and its districts Klein Grabenstedt and Groß Grabenstedt came to Andorf.
