Grafenauer Anzeiger
The Grafenauer Anzeiger is a local newspaper founded by Carl Morsak in 1884 and based in Grafenau . It has been a local edition ( head page ) of the Passauer Neue Presse in the Grafenau district (today Freyung-Grafenau district ) since 1946 . The editor is headed by Andreas Nigl.

It appears in the area of the former Bavarian district of Grafenau as a local edition of the Passauer Neue Presse. This is currently identical to the PNP local edition F, which appears in the former Wolfstein district , except for the title. These two districts were merged in the course of the Bavarian district reform in 1972, but the newspaper titles have been retained to this day.

The Grafenauer Anzeiger appears with other local editions together with the same cover edition with politics, sport, entertainment and Bavaria. The local part of the district of Freyung-Grafenau is independent, in which four different parts report on the district-wide events, the events around Freyung , Waldkirchen and Grafenau. Occasionally, reports from the editorial offices of the neighboring districts are also included in a separate section.
