Graff is an impact crater on the extreme southwestern edge of the front of the moon , which is why it can be invisible due to the libration , or if visible, can only be seen in a strongly distorted manner. It lies west of Vallis Bouvard and northwest of Baade crater . The crater is only slightly eroded and has concentric structures inside.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1970 after the German astronomer Kasimir Graff .
