The Granatenwand (also: Granatwand ) is a place of discovery for minerals below the Granatenkogel mountain peak on Gurgler Kamm in the south of the Ötztal Alps . Above the Gaisbergferner , the wall is at an altitude of around 2800 meters. Grenades in particular can be found here.
