The Grand Resort Bad Ragaz AG is the operating company of the thermal baths in Bad Ragaz and the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz with the Grand Hotels "Quellenhof & Spa Suites" and "Hof Ragaz" with all branches, all of which belong to the aforementioned company, in the Properties in the municipalities of Bad Ragaz and Pfäfers. This includes Tamina’s waterworks and electricity systems, as well as all other related ancillary trades and businesses, the procurement of spring water from the Pfäfers thermal baths for use for therapy, bathing, drinking and heating purposes, as well as the use of the corresponding objects and operating facilities in accordance with the concession of the Canton of St. Gallen on April 30, 2003.

This also includes the Medical Center and the Clinic Bad Ragaz rehabilitation clinic, the two golf courses in Bad Ragaz and Heidiland, the two subsidiaries Tamina Therme and the Casino Bad Ragaz, as well as the independent hotels Palais Bad Ragaz and Schloss Wartenstein. Grand Resort Bad Ragaz AG also has a stake in the Liechtenstein casinos “Casino Admiral” in Ruggell and Triesen in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The largest casino in Liechtenstein, the casino in Ruggell, generated a net profit of 6 million francs for the AG in 2019. Without the casino activities in Liechtenstein, the AG would have slipped into the “red numbers”, also in view of the fact that the Hotel Quellenhof was closed for five months in 2019.

In the 2019 financial year, sales were CHF 106.6 million, 1.8 percent below the previous year. The consolidated net profit was 3 million francs. 23,940 shares with a nominal value of CHF 1,000 were issued. The price on the last trading day in 2019 was CHF 4,700. At the end of the year, 1119 shareholders were listed.

In 2018, Board of Directors Thomas Schmidheiny held 84.9% of the Group's share capital.
