Grantley Goulding

Grantley Goulding (born March 23, 1874 in Gloucester , † 1944 in Unkomaas, South Africa) was a track and field athlete and participant in the first Summer Olympics in Athens in 1896 . He competed for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and qualified in the 110-meter hurdles at the elimination race on March 26th jul. / April 7, 1896 greg. with a first place with a time of 18.4 seconds for the final. There he finished on March 29th . / April 10, 1896 greg. with a time of 17.7 seconds behind the American Thomas Curtis in second place. Only two participants took part in this final.

Grantley Goulding was also registered for the 400-meter run , but did not compete there.
