The Graubülbül ( Pycnonotus barbatus ) is a passerine bird from the family of the Bülbüls (Pycnonotidae) that occurs frequently in Africa .
features
The Graubülbül is a thrush-like bird with a long tail (body length: 19–21 cm). The wings, head and tail are gray to dark gray in color, while the underside (except for the whitish rump region) is brown-gray in color. Sometimes a small head grows on the head. His reputation is a loud "doctor-quick doctor-quick be-quick be-quick".
Reproduction
The bird builds its nest in the woods. It usually incubates two eggs for two weeks. The nestling period lasts another two weeks.
