Gravity Max ( chn. 搶救 地心 ) in Discovery World ( Taichung , Taiwan ) is a steel roller coaster model Tilt Coaster from the manufacturer Vekoma , which was opened in 2002. So far, it is the manufacturer's only Tilt Coaster roller coaster .

The train is pulled onto a horizontal platform with a lift hill at a height of 35 m. There the train is locked by a hook holding the last car of the train. As a further safety precaution, the rails of the platform have a large steel block at the end to prevent the train from rolling off the rail prematurely should the hook fail. Now the platform and the pull slowly tilt until it has a slope of 90 °. The block is pushed away and the hook disengages from the train. The train now drives down the descent into a tunnel and a subsequent 180 ° curve. This is followed by the 27 m high loop before the train hits the final brakes.

Trains

Gravity Max has two trains with six cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system.
