Green Archer
Green Archer ( German : Green Archer) is the name of an older British artillery reconnaissance radar from the EMI Group which is mounted on a special Danish / German version of the M113 base vehicle, which can detect firing artillery positions up to a distance of 30 km. The exhaust system of the base vehicle has been modified to prevent the exhaust gases from being drawn into the radar. The crew consisted of four men.
The system has meanwhile been replaced in Denmark by the Swedish ARTHUR system and in Germany by the artillery location radar COBRA .
