Green Green ( Jap. グリーングリーン , Gurin Gurin ) is an eroge - Ren'ai-adventure series from Groover .

Publications

The first part was released on October 5, 2001 on CD and on March 22, 2002 on DVD. On April 24, 2004, the two PlayStation 2 ports Kanenone Dynamic ( 鐘 ノ 音 ダ イ ナ ミ ッ ク , Kanenone Dainamikku ) and Kanenone Romantic ( 鐘 ノ 音 ロ マ ン テ ィ ッ ク , Kanenone Romantikku ) were released. These differed from the PC version in that the sex scenes were removed and two new girls were added (making a total of four new ones).

On October 29, 2004 came Green Green 2: Koi no Special Summer ( グ リ ー ン グ リ ー ン ２ 恋 の ス ペ シ ャ ル サ マ ー , Gurīn Gurīn 2: Koi no supesharu samā , dt. Green Green 2: The special summer of love ) and on August 5th, 2005 Green Green 3: Hello Goodbye ( グ リ ー ン グ リ ー ン ３ ハ ロ ー グ ッ バ イ , Gurīn Gurīn 3: Harō gubbai , German Green Green 3: Hello and bye ).

On February 24, 2006 Kanenone Dynatic ( 鐘 ノ 音 ダ イ ナ テ ィ ッ ク , Kanenone Dainatikku ) was released for the PC. This game includes the four additional girls from the PlayStation 2 versions of the first part, without missing out on the sex scenes.

Action of the 1st part

Green Green plays in a boarding school for boys , the school Kanenone Gakuen ( 鐘 ノ 音 学園 , German: "School of the sound of the bell") , which is located in a rural area and therefore isolated . Since there is not a female being within many kilometers, the school is advertised as the “last remaining paradise for the men of this earth”. According to a decision, this school is to be converted into a mixed school and so the management of Kanenone has contacted a boarding school for girls in order to be able to achieve this goal. This heats the minds of the hormone-driven and “girl-withdrawal” boys from Kanenone excessively. Both schools decide to take a test by sending the girls to Kanenone for a few weeks to find out how the students get along.

Yūsuke Takazaki ( 高崎 祐 介 , Takazaki Yūsuke ), the main character of the series, has all hands to do with keeping his roommates driven by “perverted thoughts” under control, which he rarely succeeds in. His roommates consist of the fat pervert Tadatomo Ijūin ( 伊 集 院 忠 知 , Ijūin Tadatomo ), usually called Bacchi-Gū ( バ ッ チ グ ー ), Hikaru Ichiban-Boshi ( 一番 星 光 , Ichiban-Boshi Hikaru , and a self-appointed Taizō Tenjin) ( 天神 泰 三 , Tenjin Taizō ), a tall, meek fellow who has a "little sister complex".

When the bus with the girls arrives while the boys are already looking for it with binoculars on the roof of the school, a girl named Midori Chitose ( 千 歳 み ど り , Chitose Midori ) causes the first incident by overjoyed at the confused Yūsuke falls and already knows his name. As it turns out later, she already knows him from a previous life in which she and Yūsuke promised to love each other happily in another life for all eternity. This was triggered by a forbidden relationship that separated their ways in a previous life. However, he cannot remember it himself.

The course of the plot now mainly focuses on the relationship between Midori and Yūsuke , who is drawn into the antics of his roommates again and again and cannot really get used to the idea that Midori is constantly chasing him.

In 2002, an anime - OVA was produced by Green Green. The basis of the plot is the same, but here the plot has been turned into the opposite, so the boys visit the girls.

In 2003, a 12-part television series from Studio Matrix , directed by Chisaku Matsumoto and Yuji Muto , followed, which aired on Chiba TV , TV Saitama , Sun TV and a few days later on TV Kanagawa . Kiyotaka Nakahara was responsible for the character design .
