The Green Point ( Polish Przylądek Zielony , Cape Green ) is a headland made of lava rock on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located on the banks of Collins Harbor .
Polish scholars named them descriptively in 1980. It is named after the green mosses and lichens that cover the headland.
