Greenwood (Toronto Subway)

Greenwood is an underground subway station in Toronto . It is on the Bloor Danforth line of the Toronto Subway , at the intersection of Danforth Avenue and Linsmore Crescent (one block east of the eponymous Greenwood Avenue). The station has side platforms and is used by an average of 9,040 passengers every day (2015).

Greenwood Yard

There is a possibility to change to a bus line. The station opened on February 26, 1966, along with the Keele - Woodbine section . To the west of Greenwood, an underground, completely level-free, double-lane triangle of tracks provides access to the Greenwood Yard depot , where the main subway workshop is also located. The depot was built between 1963 and 1965, is about twelve hectares and has a direct connection to the railway network (main line of the Canadian National Railway ). Around half of the subway's entire fleet can be parked there.
