Greg Barnhisel

Gregory Peter Barnhisel (born December 9, 1969 ) is an American literary scholar .

He studied English at Reed College ( BA 1992) and at the New York University ( MA 1995) and received his doctorate in 1999 at the University of Texas at Austin for Ph.D. Since 2003 he has taught at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh . His research focus is the American literature of modernity , in particular the book and publishing history.
