Gregory Gray M. "Greg" Lyman (born March 9, 1950 in Gary , Indiana ) is a retired American speed skater .

Lyman competed at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo, Japan over 500 m and reached 20th place. In the following year he achieved seventh place in the all-around event at the professional sprint world championships, and eighth place at the 1973 open European sprint championships .

Lyman studied at the University of Wisconsin and graduated in 1974. He then moved to the University of Colorado and trained as a judge.

Lyman is married to Pat Scheehan , a former speed skater and actress, and lives with her in Durango , Colorado .
