Gregor tassels

Gregor Quasten (born October 3, 1952 in Mönchengladbach , † November 4, 2004 in Edenkoben ) was a German football goalkeeper .

He began his footballing career at PSV Mönchengladbach . From 1971 he played at Borussia Mönchengladbach . In 1975 he moved to FC 08 Homburg , for which he played 193 games. In 1980 he joined Hertha BSC , for which he stood between the posts for four years and played his first Bundesliga game in 1982. In total, he played 147 times for Hertha BSC. Then he was three years with SV Waldhof Mannheim , for which he played 13 games, and one year again with FC 08 Homburg under contract. From 1988 he let his career end at SV Edenkoben .

Tassels played 55 Bundesliga games and 299 games in the 2nd division. Despite being a goalkeeper, he scored seven league goals, including penalties. His greatest successes were the 1973 DFB Cup, the 1975 German Championship and the 1975 UEFA Cup, each with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Gregor tassels died on November 4, 2004 at the age of 52 years to cancer .
