Gregorio Rodríguez was a Uruguayan football player .

Rodríguez, who was used in midfield , played at least 1916 and 1917 for Universal in the Primera División . In these two seasons, his team took sixth and third place in the table.

National team

Rodríguez was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . Overall, he completed twelve international matches from his debut on October 1, 1916 to his last game for the Celeste on May 25, 1924. He did not score a hit.

Rodríguez took part with the national team in the South American Championship in 1917 , in which Uruguay won the title. During the tournament he played three games. He also worked with the domestic national team in winning the Copa Newton in 1917.

He was also used in the Copa Gran Premio de Honor Uruguayo in 1917 and 1923, in the Cop Newton in 1922 and in the 1923 Copa Lipton and Copa Gran Premio de Honor Argentino .
