Gregorius Gray

Gregorius Gray (born January 24, 1978 in Vienna ; real name Gregor Staudner ) is an Austrian screenwriter, actor and director.

Life

In 2005 Gray began to work at various Austrian theaters and in the independent theater scene. Parallel to his engagements at the theater and in film, he also developed his passion for photography.

In 2010 he started the film production “Facedisco Features” and soon afterwards made his directorial debut - the short film Postcard Mafia. His next short film, How the Pig Became a Butcher , took part in the “ Shocking Shorts Award ” and at the Emden-Norderney International Film Festival in 2013 .

In 2016, Gray completed his first feature-length film, a mockumentary entitled “Flitzer - There are no heroes”. The actors included Susanna Knechtl and Christian Strasser . In the same year he and his cameraman Bernhard Roschitz realized an art project with the “upcycling coffee shop” “The Art of Raw” in Vienna . Since 2015, funding for a documentary on the topic of drinking water with the title “Be Water my Friend” has been initiated through crowdfunding .

Gray works as a director, producer and actor in Vienna, where he also lives with his wife and five children.
