The Große Feldwetter is a weather over which part of the Wilstermarsch is drained.

The Große Feldwetter drains the part of the Wilstermarsch between Wilster and Bekau and flows into the Stör in Stördorf near the Kasenort lock via a pumping station ( location coordinates: 53 ° 54 ′ 44 ″  N , 9 ° 24 ′ 37 ″  E ). Not to be confused with the Große Feldwetter , which also flows into the Stör a few kilometers downstream.

At the Große Feldwetter there is also the historic honey fleth mill ( Lage ), via which the water used to be raised to a higher level in order to be able to drain the marsh lying below sea level. Today the Wilstermarsch pumping mills have been replaced by pumping stations.
