Great Swabian art exhibition

The Great Swabian Art Exhibition has been an annual art exhibition in Augsburg since 1949 . The organizers are the professional associations of visual artists in Swabia.

Around 100 artists from various disciplines regularly take part in the Great Swabian Art Exhibition. A jury evaluates the exhibited works. Among these, the Swabian Art Prize of the Kreissparkasse Augsburg is awarded. There are also special exhibitions in the Abraxas Culture Forum . The main exhibition takes place in the Tuscan portico in the armory .
