Great Synagogue (Astryna)
The Great Synagogue in Astryna , a small town in Hrodsenskaya Woblasz in northern Belarus , was built in the 19th century. The synagogue was used for other purposes after the Second World War .
Before 1941, the proportion of the Jewish population in Astryna was very high. The majority of the Jewish population was murdered by the German occupiers during the Holocaust .
