Synagogue (Selwa)
The synagogue in Selwa , a Belarusian parish in Hrodsenskaya Woblasz , was built in the 18th century.
Many Jewish citizens lived in Selwa and the surrounding area, the vast majority of whom were murdered by the German occupiers during the Holocaust . The synagogue was destroyed during this time.
The wooden Torah shrine was intricately carved.
