The Große Großestenberg , sometimes also called Gresten- or Krestenberg, is 1724 m above sea level. A. the highest point in the Reichraminger Hintergebirge . It towers like an island over the wooded mountains, which are significantly lower. The entire summit area is covered with extensive stands of mountain pine ( Pinus mugo ). The Große Großestenberg is often visited by tourists and offers a beautiful panoramic view. At the summit there is a summit cross with a summit book.
