The Große Halken 2 is a listed residential and commercial building in Aschersleben in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located in the southern part of the city center of Aschersleber, south of the Sankt-Stephani-Kirche , on the west side of the narrow street Großer Halken, which is designated as a monument area . To the south is the residential building Großer Halken 3, also listed as a single monument .

History and architecture

The two-storey building dates from the 16th century. While the ground floor was built in massive construction, the upper floor was built in half-timbered construction . The typical Aschersleben, plastered building has a multi-profiled, with ship throats provided floor threshold .

In the local register of monuments , the residential and commercial building is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 80461 .
