The Große Stein am Welsegraben is a boulder in the Kirchberg district of Niedenstein in the Schwalm-Eder district in northern Hesse .

The karst grave, discovered by chance on the outskirts of the village in 1973, was excavated on the parcel "Auf dem Schiwwör". No other similar comparative finds were made in the vicinity. The last village mayor, Wilhelm Kirchhoff, had the boulder set up at the exit to Gleichen as a reminder of the Wartberg culture documented in the area and in particular on the Wartberg near Kirchberg .

The rock has a mass of 1000 kg, is 2.20 m high, 1.4 m wide and 1.1 m thick.
