The Great Wülfeler and Detmarscher Pond (also Wülfeler and Detmarscher pond) is a quarry pond in the district of Döhren-Wülfel in the southern city of Hannover , Lower Saxony .

The roughly 15.5 ha large and winding lake belongs to the group of Ricklinger Kiesteiche in the floodplain of the Leine . It is located immediately west of the Leine, in the west of the Wülfel district. The depth is mostly 5 m, in the northern part a depth of 8 m is reached at one point. There are five islands in the lake.

The lake is used by the Hanover fishing association as angling waters. In 2009 eel, perch, pike, carp, rainbow trout, roach, tench, catfish and pikeperch were reported from the lake.
