Great stone graves near Halligdorf
The megalithic graves near Halligdorf were three megalithic tombs of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Halligdorf , a district of Uelzen in the Uelzen district ( Lower Saxony ). They were destroyed in the 19th century. Two graves were located southeast of the village, the third to the east. The large stone graves were documented in the 1840s by Georg Otto Carl von Estorff , but not described in detail. No information is available on the orientation, dimensions and type of grave. The only thing that emerges from the map signatures is that one of the graves to the southeast had a rectangular barn bed , while the other two had round mounds.
