Great stone graves near Meschendorf

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The megalithic graves near Meschendorf were megalithic graves of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Meschendorf , a district of Rerik in the Rostock district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). Robert Beltz kept them as preserved in 1899, so they probably weren't destroyed until the early 20th century. Their exact location is not known. There is also no further information about alignment, dimensions and type. They are only described broadly as a giant bed and a stone chamber. Possibly. there is a mix-up with two of the nearby megalithic stone graves in Mechelsdorf .
