Great stone graves near Pomietów

The megalithic graves near Pomietów (also called megalithic graves near Pumptow ) were several megalithic graves of unknown numbers from the Neolithic funnel cup culture at Pomietów ( German Pumptow ), a district of Dolice (German Dölitz ) in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . However, they were probably located in what is now the municipality of Gmina Przelewice . The graves were destroyed in the 19th century.

According to a report from 1826, the graves were halfway between Pomietów and Moskorzyn (German Muscherin ) near a wooded area.

description

The exact number of attachments is not known. They all had east-west oriented trapezoidal barn beds of different lengths. The largest stones stood on the eastern ends of the beds. To the west the beds became narrower and the surrounding stones smaller. Nothing is known about burial chambers .
