There were originally numerous other large stone graves in the vicinity. To the north of Rätzlingen were the megalithic graves near Riestedt , of which only one still exists today. To the south were the large stone graves at Hanstedt II and the large stone grave in Rassau .

description

The graves were documented in the 1840s by Georg Otto Carl von Estorff , but not described in detail. Three of them had already been destroyed at the time of recording, only the two northeast and the southernmost grave were still preserved. No information is available about the orientation, dimensions and type of grave of the systems. The only thing that emerges from the map signatures is that the grave in the village had a round pile of hills, while the rest of the complex had rectangular barn beds .
