The megalithic graves near Solchstorf are two megalithic tombs of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Solchstorf , a district of Bienenbüttel in the Uelzen district ( Lower Saxony ).

Grave 1 is located south of Solchstorf on the edge of a small forest. Grave 2 is located southeast of Solchstorf in a forest, already in the municipality of Altenmedingen, and is accessible via a forest path. It is 1.9 km northeast of grave 1. The two complexes were originally part of a much larger necropolis . Georg Otto Carl von Estorff recorded at least nine large stone graves in the area near Edendorf in the 1840s . The still preserved large stone grave Edendorf 1 is located 2.5 km north-northwest of grave Solchstorf 1. 500 m east of Solchstorf 1 were the destroyed large stone graves Edendorf 6 and 7. 2.3 km southwest were three other destroyed graves and the still preserved grave Edendorf 2 3 km to the south-south-west are the megalithic graves near Bruchtorf .

Grave 2

The complex has a burial chamber that originally consisted of four pairs of wall stones on the long sides and a capping stone each on the narrow sides. One wall stone is missing on the long sides as well as all cap stones. Some stones that are outside the chamber could be the remains of an enclosure.
