description

The facility is in a relatively good state of preservation. It is a passage grave with an approximately east-west orientation. The Emsland Chamber measures 11.5 m × 2 m and consists of one wall stone each on the narrow sides and six pairs of wall stones on the long sides. All are still in situ . There is a noticeable gap between the western end stone and the adjacent pair of wall stones, but there are no indications that another pair of wall stones that has not been preserved could be assumed here. The entrance to the burial chamber is in the middle of the south side, both wall stones of the corridor are still preserved, the western one is in situ, the eastern one has overturned. All capstones of the grave are missing. They were blown up in 1910 and taken away for construction. The earth wall that surrounds the grave is of modern origin.
