Large stone grave ester wood
The large stone grave Esterholz was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Esterholz , a district of Wrestedt in the district of Uelzen ( Lower Saxony ). It was destroyed in the 19th century. The grave was located north of the village on the east side of the road to Uelzen (corresponds roughly to today's state road 270). It was documented in the 1840s by Georg Otto Carl von Estorff , but was already destroyed at that time and could therefore not be described in more detail. No information is available on the orientation, dimensions and type of grave. The signature of the card only shows that it had a rectangular barren bed .
