The large stone grave Ketelsby is a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Ketelsby , a district of Boren in the Schleswig-Flensburg district in Schleswig-Holstein . It bears the Sprockhoff number 44.

location

The grave is located southwest of Ketelsby and south of Hegeholz in the forest area of ​​the same name.

description

The complex has an approximately east-west oriented rectangular barren bed with a length of about 35 m and a width of 6 m. In 1956 Ernst Sprockhoff was able to find five enclosing stones on the northern and ten on the southern long side. A stone lying in the east could come from the eastern narrow side. The mound has melted heavily. A burial chamber cannot be seen.
