Great stone grave Koserow

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large stone grave Koserow was a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Koserow on Usedom in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ). It was still there around 1850 and was probably destroyed in the 19th or early 20th century. Its exact location is not known. Information on the dimensions, orientation and type of the grave is also not available. The upper part of a human skull comes from the grave and came into the possession of the Society for Pomeranian History and Archeology in the early 1850s .
