The large stone grave Püttkesberge (or Pütkesberge) is a heavily disturbed Neolithic megalithic complex with the Sprockhoff no. 833. It originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC as a plant of the funnel beaker culture (TBK). Neolithic monuments are an expression of the culture and ideology of Neolithic societies. Their origin and function are considered to be the hallmarks of social development.
The large stone grave is located immediately south of Sögel in a wooded area near the "Pütkesberge industrial area" in the Emsland district in Lower Saxony .
The facility is badly damaged. The remains, consisting of 15 stones, do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the original size and type. A stone has a borehole for blasting. The grave, which was difficult to find, must have been very long.
