The large stone grave Vogelsang is a megalithic grave complex of the Neolithic funnel cup culture near Vogelsang , a district of Lalendorf in the Rostock district ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ).

location

The grave is located about 1.3 km south of Vogelsang and just as far southwest of Mamerow in a forest. A little more than 2 km to the east is the large stone grave Bergfeld .

description

The complex has a burial chamber originally encased by a rolling stone mound , which is an enlarged dolmen . Most of the stones appear to be still there, but most of them are no longer in situ .
