The friendship mine is a former iron mine in the Bensberg ore district in Bergisch Gladbach . The site belongs to the Katterbach district . The request for mutation dates from April 26, 1849. On April 30, 1849, a certificate of courage was issued. The award document dates from March 3, 1850 on Brauneisenstein . The friendship mine was in the vicinity of Katterbach. A hiking trail borders the forest behind the Klutstein houses. The treasure trove in an old limestone quarry is located in the hinterland of the Klutstein 20 house in this area.
