The cave system of the Grubstein-Westwandhöhle ( cadastral number 1625/350) is located in the southeast massif of the Dead Mountains not far from the Tauplitzalm in Styria . The heavily branched, storied cave system with spacious corridors and ice parts was explored from 1984 to 1990 by members of the Association for Speleology in Upper Styria (VHO). So far, 10,485 m of the cave has been explored and measured. The difference in altitude is 396 m.
