Lorinčík (Hungarian Szentlőrincke - until 1895 Lőrincke ) is a district of Košice , in Okres Košice II in eastern Slovakia, west of the city center.
It was an independent community until 1976 and was first mentioned in writing as Gord in 1280 . The place belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary until 1918, after which it came to the newly formed Czechoslovakia, but from 1938 to 1945 it became part of Hungary again through the First Vienna Arbitration .
