Košická Nová Ves (German Neudorf , Hungarian Kassaújfalu ) has been part of Košice since 1968 , in Okres Košice III in eastern Slovakia east of the city center.
The place was mentioned for the first time in 1297, in the 15th century Germans settled here, but these were assimilated by the Slovaks over time. After being incorporated into the city in 1968, it was only raised to a district in 1990.
