Džungľa (literally "jungle") is a district of Košice , in Okres Košice I in eastern Slovakia north of the city center.
The settlement was founded in 1961 and became an official district of Košice in 1990. The name is derived from a self-designation of the first district leaders, this was not meant very seriously and referred to the "wild area" that they had to manage.
