Dargovských hrdinov ("(Settlement) of the Dargov heroes") is a district of Košice , in Okres Košice III in eastern Slovakia, east of the city center.
The district was founded in 1975 and is located around a hill called Furča , which is also the slang name of the district. The official name recalls the battle on the Dargov Pass , which took place between the Wehrmacht and the Red Army in late 1944 and early 1945.
