Various small basic forms of lead

In the angling are basic Leads used fishing lures on the ground to offer a body of water. In addition, leads of 60 g to even 120 g are used in carp fishing in order to hook the carp with the so-called " self- hook assembly" and to throw the bait as far as possible into the water during "long range fishing". These are bodies that, because of their high density, neither swim nor remain in suspension, but rather sink to the bottom. Most of these are actually made of lead . However, more and more weights made from alternative materials have been used recently, for example steel . Leads come in many different forms, the most common are the coffin lead, the pear lead and the grip lead for carp fishing.
